Deposit
- Upon confirmation of a reservation, we require a deposit of 1 night stay
- The deposit must be received within 24-hours of confirmation in order to secure the reservation. Any reservations without a deposit will be released.
- Full payment must be received no later than 7 days prior to arrival using the credit card on file, unless otherwise noted by a guest.
Please see our cancelation policy below:
- If the guest cancels more than 60 days in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded.
- If the guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, the first-night prepayment is non-refundable.
- Cancellations less than 30 days before arrival, no refunds on the total reservation rate
- No refunds will be available for no shows, late arrival or early departure.
- In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.
- All Tours and Transfers are refundable up to 7-days before tour/transfer date
- There is only one way in which we can acknowledge the cancellation of the guest’s reservation; the guest must send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: reservations@hiddenvalleyinn.com or sales@hiddenvalleyinn.com
- All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been canceled.
- Acceptable payment methods: Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, AMEX, Discover), Wire Transfers, Local Bank Transfers. Cheques are not accepted.
Smoking Policy
Breathe easy. All interior areas at Hidden Valley (including all guest rooms) are non-smoking. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $500USD room cleaning fee.
Guests are allowed to smoke in designated outdoor areas, please ask your server or bartender for an ashtray.

All rooms will incur a 9% Government Hotel Tax
All rooms will incur a 10% Service Charge
All rooms will incur a $20 per room park fee, per room reservation. This will be paid to Hidden Valley Wilderness Reserve for preservation of the 7200 acres of private forest reserve.

Check-in/Check-out
We will do our best to accommodate early check-in and late check-out, based on availability.

Children Policy
One child (per adult) under 12 years old stays free of charge, please ask for children’s cots/cribs and children’s bedding. Please ask for capacity requirements for additional children.
Please note the Fire Tower and Wilderness Villas are for adults only (over 18), no exceptions can be made due to safety reasons.
Pet Policy
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Hidden Valley.
Room Policy
We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. Sing your heart out and have a passionate conversation all day long, but from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time).
Only registered guests are allowed in the rooms/trails, and each room has a max number of guests allowed in the room.
Additional occupants may be allowed (with extra charge), for the following occupancy:
Garden Cottage Occupancy: 2 adults, and up to 1 children
Estate Cottage Occupancy: 2 adults, and up to 1 children
Fire Tower (Adults Only) Occupancy: 2 adults
Valley View Villa Occupancy: Up to 4 adults, and 2 children.
Valley View Villa Bedroom Occupancy: 2 adults
Valley View VIlla Deluxe Occupancy: Up to 2 adults, and up to 2 children
Wilderness Villas Occupancy: Up to 2 adults
Driving and Parking
Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge is tucked away in the heart of Belize’s stunning Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve. While the journey to us is part of the adventure, we always recommend using our shuttle service for your safety and convenience. However, if you prefer to drive yourself, we strongly suggest a 4-wheel drive vehicle with high clearance, especially during the rainy season (from July 1 to December 31). The 3-mile unpaved road can get muddy, making it a bit tricky to navigate at times. Don’t worry, though—we offer complimentary towing services if you need assistance along the way. When it comes to parking, we’ve got you covered! All guests enjoy free parking in our main lot, and our team is always happy to help you park and assist with your luggage. For guests staying in the Valley View Villas, we’ve reserved parking spots to make your stay even more convenient. Just a heads-up, while we want you to have a stress-free vacation, by parking your vehicle on our property, you’re doing so at your own risk. Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge is not responsible for any damage, accidents, or loss to your vehicle or personal property.

Guest Safety Policy
As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number, or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from Guest Communication. Our property does not have individual phones in the rooms. Instead we have a 24-hour WhatsApp number and an app that guests can use with complimentary WiFi. Set-up instructions will be given upon check-in. If a guest does not wish to use their personal device, a complimentary tablet will be issued for communication purposes. Tablets will have a waiver form before checkout, and guests are responsible for any damage occurred.
Guests can also use the app for in-room dining, booking of tours, and scheduling of transfers.
